Once the reservation is made for Paragliding, you will be taken from Pokhara to Sarangkot by private vehicle. Sarangkot is the hill station where paragliding takes off. Sarangkot lies in the northwestern part of Pokhara valley which elevation is 1592 Meters. The drive is around 30 minutes and you will be given a safety brief by our experienced glider before the paragliding takes place.

 

The landing sport of paragliding is in Lakeside, Pokhara which is nearby the Phewa lake. You will be experiencing the beautiful 20 minutes of your life in the sky of Pokhara during this adventure sport. You can do paragliding through the year in Pokhara but in some cases, it is not be done. Rainy and windy seasons are not the recommended time to do it. September, October, November along with February, March, April is the highly recommended month to do Paragliding in Pokhara. You can enjoy the majestic view of Mt Machhapuchre, Mt Annapurna, Mt Himchuli, Mt Dhaulagiri during these adventure sports activities. You will kiss the height of 3000 Meters in Paragliding.

Day 01: Pick up from Pokhara hotel and drop to Sarangkot

Picked up from hotel at 8.30 in morning and drop you to Sarangkot. You will take 25 minute fly and back to hotel 11:30 in morning. Flying up in the sky just above the beautiful lake paradise of Pokhara is one of the wonderful things to do in Nepal. The urban lifestyle but very natural environment of Pokhara valley attracts a lot of visitors every year. And surfing the sky opens a good possibility of exploring the beauty of the Himalayan complex and beneath the beautiful Fewa lake. The experienced gliders assist the tandem paragliding in the heart of Pokhara valley. Sarangkot is a popular spot for Paragliding.

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel cancellation insurance to protect you from the unexpected. You aren’t likely to think of it now, but people do get ill, break a bone, have a family emergency or get assigned to a last minute business trip. If you are in remote areas, please note that emergency rescue & evacuation can be very expensive.
