So much history and culture has evolved around the route up Lhotse because it shares most of the route with Everest. It has become an acheivable goal for many mountaineers throughout the world. Basically we operates two types of Lhotse expedition services like trekking service up to base camp, base camp service and high camp full summit support service.

 

Climbing permits for peaks in the Nepal Himalayas are issued for all seasons by the mountaineering section of the minisry of culture, tourisem and civil aviation. The requisite official documents must be furnished when seeking permit.

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport, our airport representative will welcome you and give you short info about Kathmandu and directly drive to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 02: Sightseeing for a full day in Kathmandu Valley.

World heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhu Nath, Boudha Nath, Pasupati Nath, etc. Preparation for the trekking.

 

Day 03: Kathmandu fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,620 m)

Morning flight to Lukla (35 Minutes) and start the trek through Sherpa village. The trail goes gradually flat and easy to Phakding.

 

Day 04: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

You are approaching the Himalaya. Viewing all mountain and pine forest and following the yak trail takes you to Namche Bazar. On the way, you will have the first encounter of Mount Everest, Amadablam, Thamserku and many more.

 

Day 05: Rest day in Namche for acclimatization

Optional hike to Thame/Khumjung Monastery/Everest View Hotel.

 

Day 06: Namche Trek to Tengboche (3,680 m)

Trek begins very easily first part then the trail goes downhill to Phunki Tanga on the riverside. From here the Buddhism was introduced into the Khumbu valley. Then ascend about 800m to Tengboche through the pine forest.

 

Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,400 m)

Tengboche is the best place to view Mount Everest, Amadablam and Thamserku in the back. Tyang boche monastery is another attraction of the tourist so GAT staffs take you there in the morning to participate for Pooja and descend through the Rhododendron forest. Facing always giant mountain range towards Chhukung valley.

 

Day 08: Acclimatize day in Dingboche

An acclimatization day here can be used to hike up the Imja Khola to Chhukung or Nagarzhang Peak, a small summer settlement from where stunning views of Island Peak, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and the fluted ice walls flanking the Amphu Lapcha pass can be seen. These views are one of the highlights of the entire trek.

 

Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,900 m)

As we are walking in high altitude area so we are trekking like a slog. When we cross the small river in Dhukla the path goes steep up to Lobuche. You visit Chorten, Mane stone and all panoramic view of above eight thousand meters mountain. Hike through alpine meadows and summer yak pastures towards the end of the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche, which has spectacular views of Nuptse.

 

Day 10 - Rest day at Lobuche [4,910m]

Rest day at Lobuche and afternoon conduct training and refreshment skills.

 

Day 11 - 13: Climb Lobuche East (6119m)

Our first phase of acclimatization begins with a climb to Lobuche East. Climbing Lobuche east provides better acclimatization and the perfect training base for Everest.

Lobuche East Climb Plan:

Day 01: Move to Lobuche Base Camp

Day 02: Summit Lobuche descent to base camp

Day 03: Trek to Lobuche village.

 

Day 14: Lobuche - Gorakshep (5,100 m).(Optional hike to Everest Base Camp)

Today includes a challenging climb past the Khumbu Glacier, arriving in Nuptse. Cross the Changri Glacier to Gorakshep, and then enjoy the highlight of reaching Everest Base Camp.

 

Day 15-19: At Base Camp to get organized and conduct Puja Ceremony [5,364m]

Looking at an auspicious date as per the Tibetan calendar, a puja ceremony will be held asking for the safe passage. We will also do a training at the base camp, in ice seracs of the lower Khumbu Glacier to check climbers’ equipment and review climbing and rescue techniques.

 

Day 20-54: Climbing Period of Mt. Lhotse

These days are dedicated to climb Lhotse. We will make three climbing attempts before making final attempt to the summit. Our first attempt will take us as far as Camp 1 from where we will return to Base Camp for overnight stay. Our second attempt will be to spend a night in Camp 1 and reach up to Camp 2. On our third attempt, we will reach up to Camp 3 and try to spend a night in Camp 3 before lowering down to Base Camp. On our final attempt, we will have pretty good idea about the difficulty, altitude and route that we have to conquer to reach summit. So, our fourth attempt will take us to the summit of Lhotse. After spending some time in the summit of Lhotse, we will lower down gradually to Base Camp where we will celebrate successful climbing of Lhotse.

 

Day 55: Base Camp to Pheriche (4,250 m)

Early morning start your trip to Pheriche.

 

Day 56: Pheriche Trek back to Namche

Walking through the wide valley offers you the great views of Himalaya and takes your time to visit the giant Sherpa village and monastery along the way to Namche Bazar. You might see the Trans Himalayan Market in Namche Bazaar.

 

Day 57: Namche Bazar trek to Lukla

Even though you are trekking back same trails but a lot of different views and Sherpa village will keep your mind busy.

 

Day 58: Lukla-Morning fly back to Kathmandu

Take a Mountain scenic flight over the Himalaya to Kathmandu. Arrivals and transfer to Hotel. The trip will conclude here. You are open for your wellness day in Kathmandu. Evening, farewell dinner in Nepali typical restaurant.

 

Day 59: Free day in Kathmandu sightseeing and shopping

One reserved day in Kathmanud if lukla flight might be cancelled.

 

Day 60: Kathmandu Hotel-Transfer to Airport (TIA)

After having the breakfast we will transfer you to The Kathmandu Airport with private vehicle for your final departure.

You aren’t likely to think of it now, but people do get ill, break a bone, have a family emergency or get assigned to a last minute business trip.
