Nepal is often described, by travelers and scholars alike, to be a country of diverse religious practices and a site of Shangri-La. Buddhism is believed to be born in the Himalayan foothills. People travel from afar as pilgrims and as religious scholars to experience Nepal as the cradle of Buddhist history. Yet, Nepal's legal constitution proclaims it to be a solely Hindu nation.

Buddhist influences are evident in the culture of Nepal, including that of many Hindu and Animist castes. Due to Nepal's close proximity to Tibet, Tibetan Buddhism is the most widely practised form. the Newar practice Vajrayana Buddhism, which is another name for Tibetan Buddhism. Many Buddhist groups are also influenced by Hinduism.

  • Day 01. - You will be met by our representatives at the airport on your arrival and transfer you to Hotel.If got enough time on that day, 3 to 4 hour city tour

    Day 02. - Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square and back to hotel.

    Day 03. - Halfday sightseeing tour of Swayambhunath & Patan and back to hotel

    Day 04. - Early morning drive to the Chitwan National Park. At the lodge, the Jungle Guide will brief you on Asia's biggest game reserve. Overnight stay at lodge.

    Day 05. - Safari activities Include Elephant ride into the jungle for excellent game viewing, Jungle walk, Canoe ride. Later in the evening, Cultural dance will be performed by the local inhabitants - The Tharu's. Overnight stay at lodge.

    Day 06. - Early morning Bird Watching tour. After breakfast, proceed to Lumbini - The birth place of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 07. - Full day excursion of Lumbini. Visit the sacred place where Princess Maya Devi gave birth to Lord Buddha and various monasteries. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 08 - Fly to Kathmandu. You will be transferred to Dhulikhel, a scenic village famous for it's views of the snow capped mountains. Overnight stay at resort.

    Day 09 - View the sunrise and the himalayan ranges. Later in the afternoon, transfer to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 10 - Free day in Kathmandu for shopping and relaxation. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 11 - The day is free until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
