Everest Mountain Flight

Everest Expedition-8848m. South

The Himalayan Mountains were formed out of a cataclystic collision between India and Tibetan land masses.Mount Everest is one of the peaks which took shape that time. It is relatively a young mountain formed from sedimentary rock that is still being forced slowly upward by the movement of land masses below it.Mount Everest known as "SAGARMATHA" in Nepal and "CHOMOLUNGMA" in Tibet, consists pure limestone and it is greyish with sandy layers and other debris.

The Nepali name of Mount Everest is Sagarmatha and it means "Forehead touching the sky" or "Head in the sky"or Head all others. And Tibetan call Mount Everest "CHOMOLUNGMA"which means "Mother Goddess of the world".

Everyone knows that the peak Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world.Everybody says,Why do men climb EVEREST ? "Because it is there"

The lofty, snow covered peak, Mount Everest, rises about 9km above sea levels.

In 60 days period of the expedition, 5 nights hotel in Kathmandu, 12 days trekking to Everest Base Camp and return and rest 45 days for climbing period.Standing incredibly tall silhouetted against the shared sky of Nepal and Tibet.

Even though the highest mountain in the world has been conquered many times in these forty six year since the first conquest. Everest is still as mysterious, beguiling and magnificent as ever.Which ever name one chooses, its mystery still lives on. It was first climbed by Sir E. Hillary & Tenzing Norgay in 1953.

Although there are a dozen or so routes on Mt. Everest we follow the classical route, traditionally the most reliable way to the summit.
