After a spectacular flight to Lukla (2800 m.),you trek up the Dudh Koshi (milky river)to Namche Bazar,the bustling centre of Sherpa life.
The highlights of yours time here,while you acclimatize,are visits to Sherpa homes and park museum, before heading to Thyangboche Monastery,the holiest in Khumbu.It sits serenely on a high meadow, in the lee of the distinctive peak of AMADABLAM. The trails now takes you ever upward,skirting formidable glaciers and neat Sherpa villages.On returning to Lukla,bid a fond farewell to your gracious Sherpa hosts and set off on the return flight along the mighty Himalayas to Kathmandu.There is time to reflect on your adventure as well as exploring this historic and exotic city.
